Steven Junior, our first bottle lamb of the year is in the house again with apparent pneumonia and digestive distress. He’s getting lots of love and medications and he looks a bit perked up, but is still a sad little sheep and sounds like he’s breathing through a layer of pudding.

Poor little guy. Hope he’s feeling better soon.
Maybe this will help:

The very first thing I would give a lamb with gastric distress is a seat next to me on the furniture. That sheet isn’t doing anything against this.

he’s not in THAT kind of distress... but your point is well taken (he actually seems to be constipated)

By no means was I casting suspicion on your animal husbandry. Here’s hoping he’s on the mend soon.

Give this poor sheep lots of love and cuddles and pets.

haha, well we have given him olive oil in the hopes that his intestines start moving with a little more alacrity and he farts out what appears to be a minor case of bloat... it may be a bit... intense... when it lets go.

Your logic is infallible. But yes, as Jawzx said, it’s constipation. It looked like he was crapping ball bearings at first.

It’s all well and good until they start peeing everywhere.
